Zagreb (approximately 1.200.000 citizens) is the capital of the Croatia, the southeast European country, placed between Adriatic see, from the south, Alps from the north, and Panonian plate from the northeast.

With approximately 5.000.000 citizens and 21.829 square miles, Croatia is one of the smallest European countries. The largest river in Croatia is the Sava river on which is Croatia's capital placed.
